Enrollment Begins
Phase 3: Open Registration has begun. We will start accepting applications for new students starting Monday, February 1, 2010 until close of school in May. Space is limited, so don't wait too long to apply. Feel free to contact our office if you are interested in Happy Face and do not receive our newsletters or mailings. We'd be glad to talk to you and give you a tour. Stop by and pick up an application.
Happy Start Scholarship
Happy Face offers a
financial-needs-based scholarship for a 4-year-old student interested in
attending Happy Face Nursery School.
The Scholarship will
award a tuition of $2,160, which covers the full 3-day
tuition for the
4 AMs program plus registration
and incidental fees.
The scholarship recipient
may also enroll for the 4 pm, or
Fab 5s program upon teacher recommendation, however, any additional tuition or
fees are not covered by the scholarship.

BOARD POSITIONS
STILL OPEN FOR NEXT YEAR
Applications for open positions need to be in by the April Board Meeting. Please let Sue Connely know if you’re interested, or talk to any board member about their role. President - Responsible for and oversees the building, administration, recruiting volunteers, fundraising, calendar, The Smile, Public Relations, and snow chain, as well as advising on staff contracts.
Vice President – Responsible for Fundraising. In the absence of the President, the VP will make all executive decisions. The VP also organizes summer playgroups, Day in The Park, and updates to HF Mom’s Facebook Group and the HF Forum.
Secretary – Responsible for helping The Public Relations chair with collecting articles for The Smile, maintaining advertising, taking minutes at the meeting, and writing invitations and thank you notes.
Public Relations – Responsible for putting The Smile together each month, updating the Happy Face Website, and writing new ads as needed. The PR person helps to promote a positive Happy Face image.
Treasurer – Responsible for analyzing the budget and presenting it to board.
Room Mom Coordinator – Responsible for overseeing the room moms and all of their duties. (fiLLED)
