The director of our school is Valerie Shlimbaum. Val has a B.A. in English and an Elementary Education degree from Emmanuel College in Boston MA. Val is certified to teach elementary education K–8. She has been teaching children for 19 years and has been director at Happy Face for 15 years. As director, Val is responsible for creating the curriculum for the school and overseeing the staff, as well as being part of the Executive Board of Trustees. She lso teaches the Fab 5s class.
