Open Play Time at Happy Face!!!
Come join a weekly playtime on the Happy Face playground. The playground will be open for all Happy Face students and families after school on Thursdays from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM and Fridays from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM. Please feel free to stay and enjoy the facilities and have your children play with their Happy Face friends.

·         Playground is for Happy Face families only.

·         Children over 7 years old are not permitted in the playground

·         Please lock the playground when you leave

·         Children must be supervised at all times

·         No alcohol or food

·         No pets

·         No rough play

·         Do not remove sand from sandbox

·         Report broken toys or equipment to 908-832-7510

·         Clean up all trash and close the gate after use

·         Bathrooms are not accessible

·         Play at your own risk

Happy Face Nursery School has organized a bus trip to NYC for the showing of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular

Date: Saturday, November 6th.
Time: 1 pm show (as time gets closer we will provide the details on the departure time of the bus)
Cost: $95 per person
Includes: Round trip bus from and to Happy Face, ticket for show and a complimentary voucher, redeemable for a limited edition Christmas ornament at radio City Hall. Ornament retail value is $12.  Seats are in the Orchestra section
Who is eligible:  Happy Face Nursery School students, their parents, siblings and their grandparents.
Don’t wait to reserve your seat! There are a limited number of tickets available and they won’t last long!  In order to reserve a seat, please submit a check made out to Happy Face Nursery School in the amount of $20 per seat.  Initial payment was required by Friday, June 4^th.  A second payment per seat will be due in September and the final payment will be due in October.

Drop off and Pick Up Procedures in Review
When dropping off and picking up your child, please enter the parking lot from Sliker Road. Kindly line up in front of the school, staying in your car, and a teacher’s aide will greet your child and escort them to the school. Please pull forward and exit onto Route 513. At the end of the day, please line up in your car and a teacher or aide will bring your child out to your car. Please pull forward to buckle your child’s seatbelt. The staff feels that this is the safest and most efficient way to bring your children to and from school. Thank you for your cooperation!

Show and Tell

Show & Tell is a fun and very important activity that promotes language development, self-esteem and creativity. Each student presents their item to the class and provides a brief description or story about the item the date and theme of each show & tell appear on the monthly calendar and on the website. Each 4-year old and Fab 5 student will have a Show & Tell day in which they are the VIP. They lead Show & Tell and bring a special item that tells about themselves. (i.e. Family photo, favorite toy, etc.)

Sing-a-Longs
At the end of each month, family members are invited to a presentation performed by their children. Families may arrive one hour before normal pick up time (i.e. 10:30 AM or 2:30 PM) to socialize and have refreshments in the conference room. The actual sing-a-longs take place one half hour before the end of the school day. This is a great way to meet other parents and students!
